I’m Joy Cannon! Creative Producer, Consultant, only child, and so much more – I work and create along the varying threads of my interests and expertise: experiential production, events, leadership development, non-profit operational strategy, interior architecture. I work on small and big stages alike from mission-oriented grassroots organizations (like Pennsylvania United) to big name brands (like Duolingo). I’ve built out-of-school-time programs, advised non-profits on growth and sustainability, and written about politics and culture. Along the way, I’ve developed an abiding love for well-designed chaos. My best work comes to life when I am connecting with people and pushing boundaries.

Currently pursuing a Master’s in Interior Architecture, I’m drawn to design that is daring, unconventional, “a lot”, and deeply human with a special soft spot for art that experiments with light, sound, textiles, and nature.

When I’m not working, writing, creating, or studying, I’m finding pleasure in life’s slow moments, discovering new international music (it’s been a lot of  jazz recently), and indulging in reality television that is equal parts comedic gold and accidental sociological study.

At the core of everything is a deep commitment to people and a simple goal: to make the world (or at least my little corner of it) more interesting, more beautiful, and a bit softer.
